Overview of your Mexico City tour
We will visit the Basilica de Guadalupe, Latin America's most revered religious shrine. It is here where the Virgin of Guadalupe is said to have appeared before an Indian named Juan Diego in 1531 and an image of her was miraculously emblazoned on his cloak. We will have time to explore the New Basilica de Guadalupe and admire Juan Diego's cloak; the Old Basilica, built in 1700; the Parish of Indians; the Chapel of the Pocito, with an exquisite barroco style; and the Hill Chapel, located in Tepeyac hill, is here where the Virgin first appeared.

Karina was an amazing guide, and I am so glad I booked her! She was friendly, punctual, flexible, and super nice. It was such a treat to get a tour from her. She knows her religious content, and was great with our party of seven. I highly recommend booking her if you want the history, and full experience of the Basilica. We had a two hour tour, and then attended Sunday mass. Book her, she was super great with the kids too! Everyone in our party really liked her.
