Hi, I'm Victor. I've been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty. . . Ok, not really, but I would like to tell you something about myself. I'm a tour guide. I've been one since 2016 and I like it a lot. There's something about going on a journey with eager travelers waiting to discover the wonders of a foreign country that just hits the right spot. Not to mention being in the open, walking, tasting local food and beverages and of course, meeting lovely people like you. During my life journey I've learned languages, studied film, played rugby, conducted wine tastings, travelled extensively, trekked mountains, jumped off planes and into turquoise rivers, and many more but, I'm still not done. Born and raised in Mexico City, I presume to know it well enough even though it's huge! I've also given tours in neighboring regions (Puebla, Taxco) and even as far as the Yucatan peninsula! Let me know how we can accommodate your interests. I'm at my happiest wandering with good company and as such would like to extend you an invitation to come to Mexico and fall in love with it. So why not go to a cantina, enjoy some tacos, drink some pulque or scream you lungs out at lucha libre. Care to join me? All my tours can be customized upon request. It's early but, it'll be worth it. This kind of thing are, you are about to discover a magical region. Get your swimming suit on, comfortable no slippery shoes, fast driying clothes for you are about to embark in a 4 hours watery expedition. Located two and a half hours south east of Mexico City, it is an all natural reserve locally managed. The adventure begins entering an underwater river, those claustrophobic better stay behind. Bats, stalactites, tunnels and ponds await us. They still don't know where the water comes from or ends up! Right out of the entrails of the Earth, we jump right into the main event. The turquoise water welcomes us to take the plunge. A 110 feet rappel decent on a waterfall is opcional, if not, we'll start easy with a 3 feet jump and go in crescendo until we get to a drop of more than 30 feet. Will you make it? On the way back we will climb our way through some of the waterfalls. Tacos and quesadillas await in the finish line before heading back to the city.
We meet at the designated location, get in the car and go for a lovely long drive to Guerrero State. Once there we suit up and get fitted with a flotation jacket, a helmet and a head lamp to explore a cave for about one hour. We get out of the cave and commence our waterfalls adventure, a 3 hour descent, following the river through gradually increasing height jumps. After the last jump, we climb back, change into our dry clothes, eat some local tacos and head back to the city.
