To introduce myself I'll start telling you that I am a private guide that makes private tours of Mexico City and surrounding areas. I was born and raised here in Mexico City, I'm a third generation full licensed tour guide, and I consider myself to have been a fortunate kid that could travel from time to time with his father and grandfather (both of them tour guides also) and had the opportunity that my family could show me, besides a deep love to Mexico, places and people that were not easely accessed. Licensed tour guide (N011424) and no restrictions like the non licensed guides. A "guide" has to show you a badge with his name issued by SECTUR (tourism ministry) and wear it always.

This tour is a day tour, includes the historic center also known as Zocalo, with Cathedral, the Mayor Temple of the Aztecs, the Reforma Avenue, the Monument of Indepence (Known as the Angel), Chapultepec park and Polanco. The University City (a world heritage site by the UNESCO) and Cuicuilco (the first urban site of Mexico City valley), and finally a boat ride on the floating gardens: Xochimilco. As a native of Mexico City born here and living all my life in the city I'm sure you will have a unique experience! This tour is not available on Mondays.
The tour was amazing. We only had a couple of days in CDMX so this tour was perfect to see the "must-see" sights of the city. Carlos was able to customize the tour for us since we had already seen one of the items in the proposed itinerary. Carlos was also not only VERY knowledgeable but super nice. HIGHLY recommend to anyone visiting Mexico City.

Carlos was engaging and was able to provide an wealth of information about Mexico City. He knows his stuff. Brought us to a great restaurant. One issue about the whole day tour is you sit in Mexico traffic as sites we visited were pretty spread out. However, not something Carlos could control. It is just something to consider when choosing this specific tour.
