Hi! Welcome to one of the greatest cities in the world. Let me show you around. I'm a food scientist, professional brewer, writer, amateur photographer, and a history and anthropology enthusiast born and raised in Mexico City. I've been exploring the city since I was a little kid, I know its ins and outs, the classic landmarks and the hidden secrets. I would love to share all of this with you. I've lived in various cities both in and outside Mexico, so whenever I came back, I would take some friends with me and show them around. I loved doing it, so I decided to train myself and research extensively in order to offer the best tours I could. I won't lie, this city is a monster, and as any monster in can be kind of intimidating, but if you are kind and patient, with a little bit of help (hopefully my help) the monster will open up and show you the magic that's hiding in plain sight, in the middle of the chaos. Feel free to contact me in order to customize a tour to your interests and needs. I'll tailor something so you can move around as if you've lived here all your life. We'll start with an early visit to the traditional Xochimilco canals. We can either take the famous trajinera or you can hop on a kayak and discover the chinampas for yourself as you watch the sun rise from the foggy landscape. Afterward, we'll go to UNAM's Olympic stadium and central library where you will be able to appreciate murals from Juan O'gorman, David Alfaro Siqueiros, and Diego Rivera. At the University I'll take you to visit the cultural center, we'll walk around the beautiful Sculptural Area and, if you feel like it, you will have time to visit the MUAC (University Museum of Contemporary Art). Our last stop will be the Anahuacalli museum, an impressive building designed by Diego Rivera to safeguard his personal collection of prehispanic art along with 16 sketches of different Rivera's murals. Any of the stops can be changed for a tour through Coyoacan I always take my camera with me, and if you want me to I can be your personal photographer for the whole day.
