Historical Center walking tour

Let's meet at down town and enjoy the flavors of the city! One of the most iconical places of Mexico City is the historical center, the contrast between our prehispanic heritage and the colonial architecture shows the history of this amazing placing and walking is the best way to discover downtown. Our day will start at the main plaza where we'll visit the most important ceremonial center for the aztecs, the cathedral, San Ildefonso where muralism was born and the fine art museum. After walking through the streets we can continue to a handcraft market where a lot of the indigenous civilizations take their traditional dresses, fabrics, and handcrafts, this is a great place to buy souvenirs in case you want to go shopping. After all this walk we will go to some taquerias to try some of the specialities and to a market to try some exotic prehispanic food like crikets if you are feeling brave enough.
