Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting my site. Let me introduce myself by telling you that I am a certified tourist guide (from SECTUR the tourism national Department ) eager to show the wonderful places, history, customs, art crafts and the delicious food of my hometown. I was born and raised in Mexico City and there are amazing places that we can visit; if you are looking for history, archeological sites, food, typical arts and crafts, you are in the right place. I've had the opportunity to guide travel in Mexico City and many other states within the country. Mexico has much history worth knowing; such as the prehispanic, colonial and contemporary eras. Teotihuacán is one of my favorite places to visit, since it's the core of the Mesoamerican cultures. We'll visit places where you'll fully understand why that city became one of the most important cities during the Classic Period. I love guide traveling because it gives me the opportunity of meeting new people. I can assure you that I will do my best in order to make of any of my tours not only places where you will learn about history but experiences you will remember for ever. I'm flexible to each visitor's requirements. I believe this job is constantly changing as it implies new information and discoveries, hence, I like keeping myself up to date with conferences and seminars. I want my tourists to enjoy a full and rich experience of their trip, and that's not only discovering Mexico's history, but by living Mexico. We'll be going not only to the city's main sights, but also to those secret & classic spots that only us locals know about, and enjoying the warm spirit that Mexico has. I certainly love what I do and I do what I love. Certified federal tourist guide by the Ministry of Tourism None

Overview of your Mexico City tour

I simply love this tour since it is a combination of art, history and folklore of Mexico City. Let's begin our adventure in Xochimilco! This place is perhaps one of the oldest places of Mexico city which legacy was inherited by the indigens in the prehispanic times. We will have lots of fun taking a ride through the canals in a boat known as "Trajinera ". This is just a bite of what it is yet to come. Let me take you to Coyoacan. This ancient Neighborhood has preserved its streets, plazas and houses in a way that you may feel you travel through time. If you feel like tasting a delicious coffee or tasty icecream, this is the right place to do it. I just can't wait to take you to the Blue House. This was the house where Frida and Diego Rivera shared lived together. Her passionate love for Diego Rivera is imprinted not only in almost every one of her paintings but also in each and every one of its walls. This tour is suitable for those who want to have an unforgettable experience!

We had the absolute pleasure of spending a full day on this tour with Alicia as our guide, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience. It was clear that she is not only highly experienced and deeply knowledgeable, but also incredibly professional and passionate about the history and culture of Mexico. Alicia brought Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera to life for us as well as stories about every location we visited with fascinating details, personal stories, and thoughtful insights that made the tour not just informative, but truly unforgettable. Alicia managed every aspect of the day with grace and precision. We came in with high expectations, but Alicia far exceeded them in every possible way. We are so glad we chose her for this tour- our experience would not have been the same without her and we enthusiastically recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico City.

We could not have asked for a better guide than Alicia! While my expectations were high when I booked this tour, she far exceeded them. Not only is she just a lovely person, but Alicia is also incredibly knowledgeable and is able to convey so much historical and cultural information. Her restaurant recommendation for lunch was spot on (best meal we've had so far!), and our last stop to see the murals at the Library at UNAM was breathtaking. Highly recommend that you book a tour with Alicia!

Alicia arrived promptly to our hotel. She is an experienced tour guide, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk with. We appreciated her personal insights regarding Frida Kahlo, her life, and her art. We enjoyed the wonderful areas of Coyoacan and Xochimilico, lunch at a mostly locals-only taco place in the market, a personal introduction to magnificent fruits from a vendor, and a walk through San Juan Batista Church, an amazing 16th century church. We would highly recommend her.

Alicia delivered an excellent experience! She was very accommodating to our needs and went the extra mile, literally. Highly knowledgeable about Mexican culture and history, she wove the information seamlessly into the tour. She earned six stars but sadly the ratings stop at five.

Alicia is a wonderful tour guide! She arranged a custom tour, taco lunch and transportation for six women from San Diego. Her knowledge of Frida Kahlo made our visit so much more meaningful and she made sure we had time in Coyoacan to visit the Parraquia Convento San Juan Bautista which is the main church in the center of the town. She allowed us to extend our time in Xochimilco because we were so relaxed floating on the colorful boats and drinking cerveza purchased from floating bars.
