Diego was simply excellent. We did two all-day tours with him -- "Private tour to Teotihuacan" and "Explore Mexico City Essentials". We wanted tours that would provide as much historical knowledge as possible, and both of Diego's tours greatly exceeded expectations. Diego has deep historical knowledge and provided deep, thoughtful answers to whatever questions we had (some of which were rather random). Diego clearly put significant thought into his tour design, where his storytelling builds step by step throughout the day. We have been disappointed by other ToursByLocal experiences (e.g., a Yucatan tour). You won't be disappointed with any tour you take with Diego.

Diego was an outstanding guide! He showed us so many hidden gems in Mexico City, and his kindness, knowledge, and incredible storytelling made the experience truly memorable. I’ll definitely reach out for another tour the next time I visit!

This was a truly fabulous day with Diego. He made it so interesting and tailored the pace to us perfectly. He is a master story teller captivating us with his account of the history of Mexico City as he took us to the historic centre and the very early settlements in the south of the city. His knowledge of the city is huge and brings to life the areas we passed through with ease and great skill. I cannot imagine a better guide to introduce you to the City and take you deep into the history in a very accessible and enjoyable way. This was a perfect way for us to get an understanding of the city and Mexico, in the one day we had in the city. We are so happy we chose to spend this day with Diego on this tour.

To put in simply Diego was way beyond expectations. His attention to detail and dedication to us meant we really were able to get loads out of Mexico City and in fact the history of Mexico. He is beyond a tour and more of a story teller. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and more. He took us to excellent local restaurants and much more. We totally enjoyed our time with him and cannot recommend high enough. He simply won’t let you down.

I had a wonderful time spending the day with Diego touring Mexico City's historic center, Xochimilco, and Coyoacan. I would recommend his tour (or any other tour he offers) to anyone visiting Mexico City. I hope to take another tour with him next time I'm able to travel to Mexico City.
