This three-hour tour takes you to Asakusa Sensoji Temple and Meiji Jingu Shrine, two of Tokyo's major tourist attractions. These are a Buddhist temple and a Shinto shrine. I will talk about the history of each, the stories behind the area, and Shinto and Buddhism for us Japanese. On this tour, you will see the unmissable sights, enjoy delicious street food and perhaps gain a better understanding of the enigmatic Japanese people. The meeting point can be at the hotel where you are staying, or anywhere in and around Tokyo city.
The 3-hour tour includes the following highlights: --Asakusa (Tokyo's oldest temple, Sensoji, Nakamise Shopping Arcade) Enjoy street food or take a lunch break if you wish. -Meiji Shrine (Tokyo's largest shrine surrounded by beautiful forests) After the tour, I will show you where you can explore the area on your own. -Harajuku (Takeshita Street with photogenic sweets and animal cafés. )
