The many faces of Tokyo Tour

This tour is available in German or English. Tokyo is a city full of opposites, cultural extremes, and strange juxtapositions. I love them all, the places of worship, the weird shops and cafes that only exist in Japan, and the collector's heavens of the 'otaku' world. Let me introduce you to all of it, or at least some, as there is more to it all than you will be able to see in a lifetime. During this fun-filled, 6 hour tour we will visit several temples and shrines filled with ancient traditions, fascinating architecture, and their unique stories. You will also learn about many interesting facts, anecdotes, and get a short introduction to Japanese history. From there we will move onto the other side of Japanese culture that co-exists right under its conservative nose, and dive into wild side of Japan. This is a walking tour so please do wear comfortable shoes. The tour is rain or shine.
