Stunning Hakone Highlights Tour

This day to Hakone and surrounding area will stay in our memories forever. This was our 4th day tour with Masaharu - punctuating the other 3 days we spent with Masu in Tokyo central areas. The bullet train ride to Odawa, where there is a beautiful castle to explore, made for magic memories in the first instance. We also hired, via Masa, a private car + driver, to meet us at Odawara train station, to transport us effortlessly and in a time efficient/maximising time manner, around the towns and villages of the Mount Fuji area, including Hakone and, Lake Ashi. Just stunning, the whole day. Truly stunning.

Since we had booked Masaharu for multiple days, we found that on our Hakone tour day, the weather would not be optimal For great views of Mt Fuji. Masaharu agreed and then took The time to Rework the entire entire Schedule to move it to the next day. This included rebooking trains and drivers. Masaharu did this with no additional Cost. By doing this we had an incredible trip And view of Mt Fuji. I can’t thank Masaharu enough for his efforts and flexibility as it gave us a day to never forget

Masa is amazing. His background as an internationally traveled executive gives him great insight into other cultures and his lifetime residence in Tokyo gives him the ability to organize a trouble free day. He is very fluent in English and it was a pleasure being escorted through the various modes of transportation and attractions of Hakone by him. Masa helped us with our planning before, during and after our tour with him. We had five tours while we were in Tokyo and all of them were good to great but Masa was by far the best. We had an incredible adventure today! Masaharu guided four of us from our hotel in Tokyo to Hakone and back. We experience the most informative, beautiful tour. Breathtaking photos of Mt. Fuji, temple and shrine visits, a volcano visit, and so many interesting and informative conversations together. Masaharu (Mike) is an astounding, kind tour guide.
