Tokyo is a unique city where the old and the modern meet. Come and experience its mysterious sensation in the middle of Tokyo. Meiji Shrine is undoubtedly the most beloved shrine of the Japanese people. As you stroll through the deep forest of the shrine, you will experience its history and discover the secret of why this place is so dear to us all. Harajuku is a charming town with lots to see. In this tour, after leaving Meiji Jingu Shrine, first we will walk through Takeshita-dori Street, a cutting -edge place now as it used to be. After that, we’ll head to Shibuya, stopping by some trendy spots tucked away in the back alleys of so-called URAHARA （Hidden Harajuku）area . Let’s check out the rooftop garden at Harakado. This is a tour that efficiently takes you through trendy spots known to Tokyo locals through easily confusing alleys. The tour concludes with a visit to Shibuya’s famous Crazy Crossing.
Rie was a wonderful tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about many aspects of Tokyo’s culture, history and architecture. What she had to say was very interesting. Also she was conscientious and cared very much about my interests and doing all she could to accommodate them. I give her 5 stars!!
This was a fantastic tour! RIE went over and above what she needed to do to make sure we had an excellent tour and got back to where we needed to be at the end of the tour. She went out of her way to recommend and take us to a restaurant at the end of the tour. Highly recommend.
Rie was a wonderful guide. Extremely knowledgeable about the history and meaning of Meiji Jingu. I learned a lot about Shinto practice and the importance of the shrine. Rie was also great to work with in planning the tour, she helped customize the route and even did some pre-tour research for our group. I would definitely book again with Rie.
