Daytrip from Tokio to Mt. Takao area Tired from the city? Lets go to the mountains then. Easy hike just one hour from Shinjuku by train. We will see different side of Tokyo, believe it or not, we will be still in greater Tokyo area:). You can try delicious tempura and soba nudles, get some local souvenirs and even see Mt. Fuji from peak of Mt. Takao. On the way there are many ancients temples in beautiful surrounding. You can visit Japanese Onsen as well. No tattoo allowed in this one.

I will pick you up in your hotel lobby within 23 wards of Tokyo 9:00 leaving from your hotel to the station - to avoid morning rush hours 11:30 arrival to Takao station, cable car on the way up, easy walk, stairs or slope. 13:00 lunch on the way up, depence on your apetite - handmade soba noodles are highly recommended 14:00 Monkey Park, visiting of budhistic temple on the way up, nice views from above, Japanese forest flowers viewing 15:00 Summit of Mt. Takao, we can see Mt. Fuji if weather permits 17:00 return to Tokio Transportation is by monorail and a local train. Possible to hire a private car for 4people with driver - ask me for customized tour if you want to maximaze your comfort regardless of budget.
