I've guided tourists from overseas since 2009 throughout Japan, especially in the Kanto region, including trips around the Greater Tokyo Area (such as Kamakura), Mt. Kamakura is located 60km west of Tokyo, one hour distance by car. This city used to be the seat of the 1st Shogunate government from 1192 to 1333. It is called as "Kyoto" of eastern Japan. Numerous Zen sect temples, shrines and other historical monuments as well as Kamakura sand beaches of Pacifi Ocean attract travellers coming from all over the world.
Our guide was great. Our schedule was changed due to the Typhoon but Yumi was able to still take us. It rained for most of the tour but were still able to do everything and she even added a little to the end of the tour. Would gladly recommend Yumi as a guide.

Another great day with the perfect guide - our 3rd! Our day to Kamakura, while docked in Tokyo, will always be one of our most cherished memories! We walked through BEAUTIFUL Hokokuji Bamboo Forest - even in the rain it was magnificent. We visited the Tsugaoka Hachimangu Shinto shrine, climbed into the Great statue of Buddha, visited Hasadera Temple, enjoyed a "locals" lunch and shopped the famous Komachi Street before returning to the ship. Yumi's English is perfect & she hires the BEST drivers!
