This is a day trip by train, bus, boat and cable car. Hakone is situated on the Hakone Caldera floor surrounded by volcanic crater walls. It is famous for hot springs and vivid seasonal mountain beauty including spring cherry blossoms and bright green leaves, as well as red, orange, and yellow autumn colors. My favorite part of this tour is when I show you the crater lake and spectacular view of Mt. Fuji - if we are lucky. In addition to Hakone's lovely natural beauty, a variety of world-class art museums are scattered around Hakone such as The Hakone Open-Air Museum, Okada Museum of Art, Narukawa Art Museum, etc. We will take a relaxing cruise on Lake Ashi and visit Owakudani Valley, a crater that was created 3, 000 years ago, where we can see actual volcanic activity.
