Hello! Konnichiwa! My name is Sachiko. I am a government licensed tour guide living in Sayama city near Tokyo and would love to show you all over my home country Japan. From the ever-popular tourist hot spots like Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, to the more unusual and rather unique local sites like Golden Gai in Shinjuku. Let me share personalized stories with you that will enhance your understanding of Japanese culture and its long history. I am a quite experienced tour guide. I have delivered tours for more than 1, 200 travel days since I received my license in 2006. I can create detailed customized tours, from single participant to large groups of 40 people. I will also be able to arrange a car, a van or a bus for your convenient transportation. I can build from a half day tour to a 2-week tour which is called "the golden route tour of Japan" . Please tell me all about your interests and the kind of places you would like to see. I am proud of my flexibility with scheduling to meet all of your needs, helping to make the most of your valuable time here. Before becoming a tour guide, I operated a language school in my place of residence for more than 15 years. I like to cook, visit art museums and do Japanese calligraphy. I also like to travel around the world and had great fun in many places which I visited. Because of my experience in intercultural business and my hobbies, I believe that I can meet all of your travel needs. I always enjoy meeting people and making new friends. Let's travel together! This is a day trip by train, bus, boat and cable car. Hakone is situated on the Hakone Caldera floor surrounded by volcanic crater walls. It is famous for hot springs and vivid seasonal mountain beauty including spring cherry blossoms and bright green leaves, as well as red, orange, and yellow autumn colors. My favorite part of this tour is when I show you the crater lake and spectacular view of Mt. Fuji - if we are lucky. In addition to Hakone's lovely natural beauty, a variety of world-class art museums are scattered around Hakone such as The Hakone Open-Air Museum, Okada Museum of Art, Narukawa Art Museum, etc. We will take a relaxing cruise on Lake Ashi and visit Owakudani Valley, a crater that was created 3, 000 years ago, where we can see actual volcanic activity. Hakone mountains range is a range of active volcanos but are reasonably quiet now. Let's enjoy having boiled black eggs at Owakudani Valley! *Mt. Fuji is sometimes invisible. *If you try to bathe in a hot spring, please let me know.

Sachiko was very friendly and nice. She is flexible and can do whatever you want. We loved going to the hot spring. we had a cloudy and rainy day, not her fault, but beware of weather before you book. It is a lot of travel.
Sachiko was a great guide and very pleasant to be around. Her English was good. She went above and beyond the call of duty in helping my son when he left his phone on the bullet train including coordinating with the train staff and delivery personnel even after we had left her tour. She was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend her.
Sachiko was an amazing guide and she really helped us get comfortable traveling around Hakone. Her English is very good and she is a great help if you want to practice your Japanese. I don't often take private tours but this one was definitely worth it. I strongly hope to keep in touch with Sachiko and would book a tour with her again for sure!
