Hi, I’m Jake, an American guide living in Iceland and deeply passionate about sharing this incredible country with visitors from around the world. I first came to Iceland for the adventure and quickly fell in love with the landscapes, the culture, and the quiet power of nature here. What started as exploration turned into a calling. Now I spend my days guiding travelers through dramatic fjords, waterfalls, volcanic landscapes, and small fishing villages while sharing the stories that make each place come alive. My style is relaxed, flexible, and personal. I believe the best tours feel less like a scripted presentation and more like exploring with a knowledgeable local friend. Whether you want stunning scenery, local history, photography stops, hidden gems, or simply a great conversation along the way, I tailor each experience to fit your interests. I look forward to helping you experience Iceland in a meaningful and unforgettable way.

Join me for a personal and fully customizable South Coast experience from Reykjavík, where we explore Iceland’s most dramatic landscapes at a relaxed and flexible pace. This is not a rushed bus tour. It is your day, shaped around your interests. We will walk behind Seljalandsfoss, feel the power of Skógafoss as it crashes into the mist below, and explore the striking black sands of Reynisfjara with its towering basalt columns and sea stacks rising from the Atlantic. Along the way I share local stories, hidden viewpoints, and quiet photo stops many visitors miss. If you would like, we can visit Sólheimajökull glacier, stop in Vík for coffee or lunch, or add scenic coastal viewpoints. The day flows naturally based on weather, energy, and what excites you most. This is the South Coast, experienced your way.
We begin by heading east from Reykjavík through lava fields and farmland to Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind the cascading water for a unique perspective. Next we visit Skógafoss, one of Iceland’s most powerful waterfalls, often framed by rainbows in the mist. There is an option to climb the stairs for sweeping views from above. We then continue to Reynisfjara black sand beach near Vík, known for its basalt columns, dramatic waves, and sea stacks just offshore. Optional additions can include Sólheimajökull glacier, Dyrhólaey viewpoints, or time in Vík for coffee or lunch. The schedule is flexible and adjusted to match your pace and interests. End at the starting point.
