We will walk behind Seljalandsfoss, feel the power of Skógafoss as it crashes into the mist below, and explore the striking black sands of Reynisfjara with its towering basalt columns and sea stacks rising from the Atlantic. Along the way I share local stories, hidden viewpoints, and quiet photo stops many visitors miss. If you would like, we can visit Sólheimajökull glacier, stop in Vík for coffee or lunch, or add scenic coastal viewpoints. The day flows naturally based on weather, energy, and what excites you most. We begin by heading east from Reykjavík through lava fields and farmland to Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind the cascading water for a unique perspective. Next we visit Skógafoss, one of Iceland’s most powerful waterfalls, often framed by rainbows in the mist. There is an option to climb the stairs for sweeping views from above. We then continue to Reynisfjara black sand beach near Vík, known for its basalt columns, dramatic waves, and sea stacks just offshore. Optional additions can include Sólheimajökull glacier, Dyrhólaey viewpoints, or time in Vík for coffee or lunch. The schedule is flexible and adjusted to match your pace and interests.
