Hello and welcome to Reykjavik! My name is Sergei, and I'd be happy to show you around Iceland. Let's say you're planning a visit to Iceland and a quick tour of the country. In this case, we can arrange a private tour from Reykjavik to discover the most interesting sights along popular routes. Please let me know if you have any additional ideas or special requests for your trip, and I'll be happy to organize a tour. Since 2015, I've been a pleasant, practical, and responsible guide, running my own tour company. I'm passionate about Icelandic nature and can tell you about the Icelandic sagas or explain the geological structure of our island. I've traveled extensively, spent several years as a sailor, worked as a maintenance engineer, and visited many countries. As an outdoor enthusiast, I enjoy traveling both domestically and internationally. I have extensive experience as a driver-guide using suitable transportation. The vehicles used for our tours have all the necessary permits from the Icelandic Transport Authority. Let me show you Iceland through the eyes of a local and a visitor who has lived in this beautiful country for 25 years! Welcome aboard!

The Golden Circle Express Tour is perfect for those pressed for time but still want to visit some of Iceland’s most popular attractions. The Express Tour includes highlights of the famous Golden Circle, such as Thingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic Parliament was founded in 930 AD, and the rift between the American and Eurasian tectonic plates. We’ll visit Gullfoss Waterfall to enjoy the sound of falling water and the power of the falls. We’ll then stop at Geysir Valley to see Strokkur erupt, observe the area’s smaller hot springs, and feel the energy of Iceland’s natural environment. Highlights: • Perfect introduction to Iceland for the first time visitor • Visit some of the most popular destinations throughout the day • Hassle-free round-trip transfer from your accommodation in Reykjavik
My suggested itinerary can also be tailored to your interests; please let me know if you would like to change it or add any activities. Places to visit: • Thingvellir National Park. Stop for one hour. Walk along the Almanagja rift, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates move apart. Thingvellir is also well known as the site of the General Assembly, which settlers have used since the Viking Age. • Gullfoss Waterfall. Stop for one hour. See the two mighty cascading waterfalls from different angles and take the lower trail closer to the waterfall. • Haukadalur Geyser Valley. Stop for one hour. A short walk around the area to explore the hot springs, including the original Geysir, and watch several eruptions of Strokkur. • We can also stop for lunch or a snack at the Fridheimar tomato greenhouse or Glima restaurant at the Geyser Valley.
