Szentendre - Half Day Tour to Hungary's Most Visited Artists' Village

Hungary's most romantic little town is Szentendre. In spite of having been there literally thousands of times, Szentendre is for me like a multicolored treasure-box offering something memorable to each and every visitor! I still enjoy getting lost in the narrow winding streets among small houses, old churches, and the tiny synagogue, drop into galleries of contemporary art or peculiar museums. There is always a handicraft fair, so if you like shopping, Szentendre is a paradise! There are two exhibitions in Szentendre I strongly recommend to my guests: one is beautiful, the other is fun! One is a touching exhibition of a Hungarian artist lady, MARGIT KOVACS - her clay statues and figurative pottery stand alone in 20th century Hungarian art, and are part of Hungarian Heritage. The other is the MARZIPAN MUSEUM with the copies of some famous Hungarian landmarks, along with famous personalities and other well known characters. So, I welcome you to this tour!
