- First, we visit Esztergom, Hungary's first capital city with the largest Roman Catholic Church in Hungary. - Then we continue to Visegrad, to this ancient settlement inhabited already by the Romans, with a medieval castle on top of the Visegrad hill from where we can enjoy the great panoramic view of one of the most beautiful landscapes in our country. - Afterward, we visit the town of Szentendre, a charming town with a Mediterranean atmosphere on the Danube bank 20 km from Budapest. In the 18th century, it used to be the center of the Serbs in Hungary, when it became the seat of their commercial, cultural and ecclesiastical life for a hundred years. - We can stroll along its crooked streets, narrow, romantic alleys, we can view seven church towers, colorful houses can feel the dominant Mediterranean atmosphere, and can visit one of its plenty of museums that make this charming, little town the most frequently visited center on the Danube Bend. - We can enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
