Hi there, welcome to Budapest! My name is Magdalena, I was born and raised in Budapest and I've always been amazed by the beauty of my hometown. As a guide and a proud Budapest local, I'd like to share this feeling with you. My motto as a professional tour guide is "Enjoy the ride!" - rather than just listing dry facts I'd like to tell you stories. Stories of the past, present and of the people of Budapest. Having travelled around Europe and having lived in the USA, UK, Spain & Argentina I must say that Budapest is the perfect city for me. It is the combination of all you need: stunning architecture, rich history, unique spas, great restaurants & the coolest pubs, a lively nightlife and exciting cultural & arts landscape. I invite you to discover and "feel the city" with me - both walking and on two wheels! Tour Guiding Certificate, issued by the School of Commerce and Tourism (Kereskedelmi és Idegenforgalmi Továbbképző) BA degree in Tourism and Hotel Management, Budapest Business School, accredited by the Manchester Metropolitan University MA degree in International Relations/ Foreign Affairs major, Corvinus University of Budapest None

Did you know that Buda and Pest used to be two separate cities? Still today the two sides have their own character - a different geography, a unique heritage and a special atmosphere. Frankly I am a true "Pest girl", born and raised on this side of the river Danube, but I fell in love and married a Buda guy. . . although there is a healthy rivalry between us about which side is better, the truth is that Buda and Pest complement each other just perfectly, making it such a great place! This tour is ideal for the first time visitors who'd like to see as much as possible in one day. Let me show you the best of both sides, the green and hilly Buda with its medieval streets and the buzzing, urban Pest with its amazing architecture, cafes and shops. During this full day experience we visit the important UNESCO sights, admire breathtaking views and enjoy culinary delights. All of that using the comfort of a delux private vehicle with a full panoramic roof top. (If you have more people contact me for a quote!!)

Magdalena was a phenomenal guide. Her English was excellent and she was extremely knowledgeable about the entire city of Budapest. She gave us great information, but did not overwhelm us, unless we asked. This allowed us to see everything we wanted to see and do…enjoying the highlights of the whole city. I would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Budapest.
Magdalena was an excellent guide. She was both extremely knowledgeable, informative, and enthusiastic about everything related to Budapest and Hungary. She showed us many of the best-known landmarks as well as lesser-known ones. I would highly recommend her as a guide to anyone visiting Budapest!
Magdalena was absolutely phenomenal and made our time in Budapest unforgettable. She met us right at the train station, immediately making us feel welcomed and excited to explore! She customized the tour exactly to what we wanted, giving us a fantastic overview of Budapest while keeping everything flexible for our large, multi-generational family. She even coordinated a driver for us making the day seamless and stress-free. Magdalena was incredible with our 3 young children, making the tour fun, interactive and very engaging, while also showing tremendous grace and care for our elderly grandma and sister, who needed a slower pace. Balancing all of this was no small task, yet she handled it easily. Her knowledge, energy and passion truly brought the city to life. We highly recommend Magdalena to anyone visiting Budapest, especially with family groups, top tier experience!
We had a wonderful day with Magdalena! She picked us up from the port and drove us around Budapest to see the highlights by car and on foot. Magdalena is very knowledgeable about the city, its history and culture. She is warm, accommodating and flexible, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. We highly recommend a tour with her!
Awesome tour, giving us the opportunity to learn more than just looking at buildings, but really got a chance to learn about the culture. We really enjoyed the wine tasting and opportunity to learn what it was like growing up in the Budapest
The itinerary of this tour is quite flexible depending on your special interests, but I always make sure to include the most important attractions, such as: - Walk around the Hero's Square and the City Park - See the Andrássy Avenue, including the State Opera House and the House of Terror Parliament - Stop by The Great Dohány Street Synagogue - Go inside the St. Stephen's Basilica - Visit the Central Market Hall - Admire the view from Gellért Hill and see the Statue of Liberty upclose - Discover the Buda Castle District, including the Mathias Church and the Fishermen's Bastion If you have special interests, please let me know and I will customize the tour for you! Also if you have already done a general sightseeing tour of the city I can alter the itinerary to take you to new places.

Transportation is by a private vehicle. In case of 3 people or less we take a delux Hyunadi Santa Fe, with an amazing, large rooftop window, full leather interior and A/C for both front and back rows. The car has a huge storage space if you have lot of luggage. In case of more travellers please contact me for a quote, then we could use an air conditioned minivan with a chauffeur (Opel Vivaro, Ford Transit or similar).
