We've been on a lot of tours over the years, and I can't remember a better one. Rashad was kind, organized and knowledgeable. We connected with him right away. A lot of ground was covered from a literal and historic perspective. Rashad made it interesting and fun. Budapest's excellent public transportation system (metro, bus, tram) was used extensively. -Have a short introduction about the roots of the Hungarian history at one of the most iconic place of Budapest, the famous Heroes Square. -Take a pleasant walk in the beautiful City Park with its interesting sights such as the glorious Vajdahunyad Castle and the famous Széchenyi Spa. -Go through Andrássy Avenue, Budapest's own Champs-Élysées. -Have a look inside the famous Hungarian Opera House. -Visit the largest church in Budapest dedicated to Hungary's first king, St. Stephen Basilica houses an essential relic of the Hungarian history, the Holy Right Hand. -In front of the most beautiful parliament building we speak about the very interesting details and stories of this magnificent building. -Crossing the Danube to visit the medieval Buda Castle. -Go inside the Royal Palace. -Quick stop at the medieval Matthias Church. -Take photos at Fisherman's Bastion where we can enjoy the beautiful panoramic view for the city.
