Do you know why is Budapest called the twin cities? Because it is actually made from two cities that were united in the 19th century. Strolling around nice flat Pest and discover its monuments and its stunning architecture, history, and culture, is one of the best things to do! We will explore urban stories and hidden places together, at your own pace. I will show you the most picturesque parts of the Hungarian capital. This tour is ideal for first-time travelers and those who love getting to know a city in a more relaxed way. A full-day tour divided into two relaxed days. You can discover the city at your own pace. We will use public transport and also walk.
Each day Meet and end of tour are at your hotel or another meeting point or at a restaurant. Pest side: - Travel by public transport and/or walk to Heroes Square, City Park, Széchenyi Spa, optional: thermal water tasting - Travel back to Saint Stephen's Basilica, optional: inside visit, walk on the Danube Shore, view of the Chain Bridge, tram ride on line 2. Buda side - Travel by public transport and/or walk to Matthias Church, Fishermen's Bastion, Royal Palace. - Coming back by public transport or walk to the Parliament, Bank Quarter, - Walking to the Great Synagogue, - Tram ride to the Great Market Hall, optional shopping and lunch Opening hours of the places can change due to the season or a special holiday. Please wear appropriate clothes at the Saint Stephen's Basilica, please cover your shoulder. The program can be variable and be adapted to the meeting point.
