I am working with several river cruise companies such as Viking, Tauck, Scenic, Emerald, AMA Waterways. This way I have the necessary knowledge to arrange post, or pre-cruise tours without repeating the sights you’ve seen before. I am not necessarily a 'regular' guide, I am more into helping my travellers understand the city they are touring, instead of citing facts and figures about buildings and statues. During a 4 hours long driving tour I can show you simply the best sights of the Hungarian capital city, regardless whether they are on the Pest, or on the Buda side. Excellent choice for those looking to get their heads around Budapest. By utilising a minivan, we can drive up to the nicest and most famous vantage points where you enjoy breathtaking views of the river Danube and the skyline of Budapest. Make sure to charge your camera's batteries! You may take lots of postcard images! The other advantage of using a minivan is that we can enter lots of neighbourhoods where tour buses are not allowed to enter thus we can see a lot more! Besides the history I am happy to discuss with you anything that interests you, the matters of daily life, politics, etc Using a van allows us to see the signature sites at a comfortable pace. If you fancy, we can even stop for a short coffee break along the way.

We really enjoyed our four-hour tour with Adam. My husband has mobility issues, so we were picked up in a van with a driver and squired around Budapest. Adam has lived most of his life in Budapest, and he is very knowledgeable about history and the present, and he has a really calm and nice personality. My suggestion for a half-day long driving tour: - Gellert Hill where you can enjoy one of the world's most recognised views, which also provides a great general overview of what my hometown can offer to visitors, - Explore the so-called residential part of the Buda Castle district with the Neo-Gothic Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion, which are both known as the highlights of Budapest, - Drive along Andrassy Avenue, which is part of the UNESCO World heritage, with an optional stop at the recently reopened State Opera a/o at House and at the House of Terror museum, - Heroes' square and the surrounding City Park with the famous beaux art Szechenyi Spa and a fairy-tale like Castle of Vajdahunyad, - the biggest working synagogue of Europe, which shows you the significance of the communities in the city's life --- If you are travelling with a group bigger than 6 please contact me for a special quotation! --- The itinerary can be customised to avoid overlaps with other tours you may participate
