Overview of your Budapest tour
I will great you at your hotel and drive us straight to Heroe's Square, where we kick off the tour. This gives us a great opportunity to get familiar with the Hungarian history and wonder in this historical city park exploring more of its surrounding, like Vajdahunyad Castle and the famous Szechenyi Spa. We will drive through the main avenue and peek inside the Opera House. Here comes the fun part of the tour: I will show you some hidden spots and famous murals while we walk through the Jewish Quarter, passing by the Great Synagogue. We will have a short break to enjoy a yummy snack in a local place. We will be able to take some beautiful photos of the Parlament building and walk down to the heartbreaking "Shoes" Memorial on the Danube Bank. We leave the best for last: end the tour at Buda Castle and enjoy a breathtaking view to Budapest from the Fisherman's Bastion. I am happy to customize this tour for you!

Beata gave a fabulous tour! She was very responsive to our needs, changing the tour spontaneously, as we had already seen several of the sights she was planning on showing us. She was a very engaging guide who gave us a real sense of contemporary life in Budapest, even with all of the historic perspective she added. And we shared a wonderful lunch with her. We spent the day touring with Beata and it was fabulous. We had a driver that took us to both sides of the city, so we got a good overall feel for everything. Beata is very knowledgeable, as she is a local, and was willing to answer all my questions (and I had quite a few!). She also recommended several things for us to do the next day since we had a free day on our own. We had a delightful lunch in a restaurant with authentic Hungarian food, where Beata knew the proprietor. I do not hesitate to recommend her and would tour with Beata again.
