Hi there, my name is Valeria (Valerie) and Welcome to Budapest! Discover this vibrant city with a native local. Having been born and raised here I had the chance to live on both sides of our capital Buda and Pest and I know all the "nooks and crannies" of this city. I have always liked being surrounded by foreigners and meeting people from different cultures and ages. Tour guiding and travelling are my passions. It was a great opportunity for me to live in Wales, United Kingdom for a year. I used to be an English speaking kindergarten teacher so I get on well with children, too. As a professional tour guide I have been showing travellers from all over the world around my hometown since 2016. I also have the license to guide in the largest synagogue in Europe. Let me invite you to explore the diversity of Budapest in an informative and entertaining way: rich history, funny stories, gorgeous architecture, delicious food and beverages, cool ruinbars, vivid nightlife, spa culture and paprika :) If you are up for the adventure please do not hesitate to contact me to personalize the tour for you. Professional Tour Guide License Dohany Synagogue (Grand Synagogue) special guide pass Rumbach Synagogue special guide pass Memento Park special guide pass BA degree in Cultural Management MA degree in Pedagogy I am not a driver but I can arrange a car and a driver.

Would you like to visit the most historical part of Budapest? The area on top of the Castle Hill has been the heart of the capital even from the medieval times. However the Castle District had suffered serious damages during World War II and other horrible fights of the stormy centuries of the Hungarian history today it is a charming UNESCO World Heritage Site. This place is mainly for the pedestrians with cobblestoned passages, Baroque apartments, royal courtyards, cosy cafés and galleries a mix of culture and heritage, old and new. Of couse we will not miss such important sights as the gorgeous Matthias Church, the iconic Fisherman's Bastion or the Royal Palace which houses two museums and a library actually. While we are walking around the oldest buildings of the city I can share ecxiting stories, some fun facts and the secrects of the Castle District with you. The area offers perfect photo spots and you will be able to enjoy the stunning panoramic view of Pest, too.
