My name is Petra, like the city in Jordan. I'm an experienced tour guide since 2015 and also licensed tour guide in the largest European Synagogue. I speak fluent English and in any case of necessity my Spanish can help me to survive and of course, I'm a native speaker of the fourth most difficult language in the world; Hungarian. During this 7 hours long guided tour I would like to show and tell you everything what I think it makes Budapest the best European destination, and with stories what made me fall in love with my hometown. I hope I can make this place your best vacation experience as well. The program is the fusion of two half-day tours; in the first 3 hours we can see all the main attractions of the Hungarian capital, and then other 3 hours to focus on the very special Budapest Jewish quarter with the interior visit of the synagogues, including the largest in Europe.
Petra was terrific. She was a combination of knowledgeable, flexible and delightful. As mobility was an issue for us, she graciously arranged a comprehensive tour that minimized walking but still included everything. She also accommodated an off-the-beaten track request. Her driver was excellent.

Amazing tour!! We saw all the main sites on both sides of the river, had a delicious lunch, and went inside some really unique places. She also gave us terrific recommendations for the rest of our time in Budapest. Pace was great and the day flew by.

Petra was Amazing! We had some specific places we wanted to see and she took care of everything! It was the best full day tour we have done in our travels, from meeting us at the train station, having a private car for us, to having umbrellas for the rain. Everything was perfect!
- At the beginning of the tour, I'll pick you up with a well-equipped car and private driver at your hotel or wherever you want to. - The first area we discover is the Buda side with the amazing Castle district to see Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastion, and more. - Afterwards, we head to the Pest side to explore after each other the St Stephen's Basilica and Hungarian Parliament building. - The first half of the tour is by car, at the end we will be dropped at one of my favorite restaurants, like the Gettó Gulyás or Bem Söröző to have a nice traditional lunch (if you want Kosher, please let me know in advance. ) - After our break, we go to visit Europe's largest synagogue in Dohany Street, and last but not least the rest of the wonderful secret corners of the Jewish Quarter. This part of the program is a walking tour. - In the end, I'll give you useful information about what and where to do in the city.
