Hello!

Welcome to the Scottish Highlands! Before I became a Tour Guide in 2016, I worked at Culloden Battlefield, where I led demonstrations of Highland weaponry and use of traditional clothing. My passion runs deep for all things Highland, particularly the Clans, Tartans, Kilts and Single Malt Whisky.

As a Local, I enjoy sharing our culture and traditions as well as showing people our magnificent scenery and heritage. You will be accompanied by myself - an actual Highlander in a Kilt, who is well familiar with Highland roads, points of interests and some hidden gems. There will be endless stories of legendary folklore that I like to match with Highland hospitality by offering you a dram or 2 from my own personal whisky collection.

I am based at the Capital of the Highlands - Inverness. It is the home of our dear Nessie (the Loch Ness 'monster'). Here you will find actual places from the famous Outlander TV Show, inspired by the ones found at Clava Cairns and historical accounts of battles fought at Culloden. To this day, Inverness still has its delightful medieval flavour.

Please be informed that I can accommodate a minimum of 2 or 3 passengers and maximum of 6.
Solo travellers will need to book for 2.

I worked at Culloden Battlefield for many years, where I gained a wealth of knowledge about the famous battle and struggle of the Jacobites rising against the British force. It made me an expert on the 18th Century Highlands and Clan Life. We will walk on sacred grounds amongst fallen heroes and possible ancestors.

I will also take you to the mystical Clava Cairns that has been in existence since the Bronze Age. I will get you acquainted with interesting stories of Highland culture, tartans, kilts and folklore and visit a world-renowned castle on the shores of Loch Ness. You will also experience local life in the city of Inverness. Taste traditional food, listen to some of our talented buskers, shop for souvenirs or just explore.

Culloden, Loch Ness + More [Day-Tour from Inverness or Invergordon Cruise Port]

This tour is only available from April to October due to castle availability.
As I pick you up from the Port, we'll drive up North to where you can experience a fairy tale come to life. The Dunrobin Castle is home to Clan Sutherland with french-inspired turrets, a grand garden, museum and a falconry show. You'll feel like you've stepped into a fairytale story that will transport you to a different time and place.
We'll then take a short drive to a quaint medieval town where you can explore the famous Dornoch Cathedral, have lunch or shop for souvenirs, soak up local vibes and a chance to see some Highland Cows that we lovingly call Heilan Coos.
To complete your day. . . I'll take you to a world famous Whisky Distillery to have a tasting or 2 at your discretion.

Fairytale Experience [Day-Tour from Inverness or Invergordon Cruise Port]

This is a fun and exciting tour specially for Outlander Fans. I will take you to where the real Standing Stone is. It will not take you back in time, but you will certainly feel something mystical all around. You will have an opportunity to act the famous Claire pose, with me as Dougal and gear you up Outlander-style. We'll look for the Fraser head stone at Culloden and a Jamie Fraser grave at a medieval priory. Then off we will go to a Castle which is often referred to as a typical Clan Castle inspired by the series.
