Matthew was a fantastic guide who planned out a great day for us. He provided great communication before the tour, and he asked questions about what we wanted to see. I wanted everything "Outlander" and he definitely delivered. He also was incredibly knowledgeable about life and history of the Highlands. We learned a lot...but we wanted to, he was quick to say he could "teach" less if we didn't care about the info...but we liked that. Besides all of that, Matthew was just a great guy and we enjoyed spending the day with him. Thanks so much Matthew!

I cannot recommend Matthew highly enough. From his knowledge of all things Scottish, to his wonderful sense of humor, the two days we spend with him were a delight. Outlander fans will not be disappointed with his tours of Culloden and the Clava Cairns. His amusing spiel on the royal succession during the 1600s is not to be missed - even a teenager would find it interesting. The two distilleries we visited were first rate and Sueno’s stone was a nice surprise. Lunch was at a fine small town pub complete with dog. Highly recommended.

Matthew was a lot of fun and energetic! He really knew the history of Scotland as well as modern and local information. We had so much fun with him, and highly recommend Matthew!

We had a wonderful day exploring Scotland with Matthew. We asked for a day that covered history, a distillery tour, a castle, agricultural information, and Loch Ness. He took our requests and came up with a fun itinerary that covered it all! He was friendly, easy to talk to and his knowledge of Scotland was beyond impressive. It was a great day!

Matthew was a FANTASTIC tour guide for our family! Our group of 6 ranged in age from 3-73, and Matthew did a great job engaging all of us. He was energetic and great with the kids, and he shared lots of interesting facts with the adults, from telling the history of Scotland and Jacobites in a fascinating way, to playing musical trivia of Scottish artists on the car ride back to port. We were only in Invergordon for a few hours on our cruise, and we made the most of it. Matthew was also clear at communicating to set up a personalized tour before we met, and his van was clean, safe, and comfortable for all of us. He even provided car seats for the children.
