Travel through the wonderful city of Inverness on route to a variety of locations that are steeped in history, mythical stories and wonderful scenic views. Opportunity to walk the Culloden Battlefield, crossing the lines of where both the Jacobite and the Government forces assembled on that fateful day. Visit the memorial cairn, Clan stones including the Outlander Fraser Stone. Continue the Outlander theme with a visit to the 4000 yr old standing stones at the Clava Cairns. What affect will touching the "transporting stone" have on you? Will you be one who witnesses Nessie making an appearance as we travel alongside Loch Ness on route to the picturesque village of Beauly? Visit the ruins of the 12th Century "Old Priory" building. Having grown up in the village of Beauly (thankfully not in the 12th Century!) the impressive Priory grounds was a location that I regularly visited when growing up.

- Collection at agreed location. - Travel to Culloden Battlefield - Visit the Clava Cairns - Head east through the countryside out to Cawdor Castle. - Return towards Inverness drive through the city witnessing the iconic buildings within. - Travel alongside the shores of Loch Ness in the hope that Nessie makes an appearance. - Head across to the village of Beauly and walk through the ruins of the 12th century Priory building. - Option then of attending the Singleton Distillery at Muir of Ord to sample their whisky if that is your tipple. - Head back to the agreed drop of location. A suitable lunch stop can be built into the days activities at your request. All my tours can be customised.
