Hi! I’m Steffen. Half Scottish, half German, and proud to call the Highlands home for most of my life. My roots lie with the historic Clan Munro, and while my background is in engineering, my passion has always been sharing the beauty and stories of Scotland with others. I offer private, relaxed, and informative tours of the Highlands — from the dramatic landscapes of the Isle of Skye to ancient castles, lochs, distilleries, and the hidden gems many visitors miss. I travel in a comfortable 8-seater Mercedes-Benz with full air conditioning and charging points, ensuring a smooth and scenic journey throughout. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning explorer, I tailor every tour to your interests — history, nature, whisky, Outlander filming locations (I even appeared as an extra on the show!), or just a day of unforgettable views and good company. I can even play you a tune on the bagpipes if the mood strikes! Pickups are flexible — from ports, hotels, rural hideaways, or airports — and I always aim to make the experience feel like travelling with a well-informed local friend. Scotland’s history is vast, sometimes wild, often funny, and always worth sharing — I look forward to showing you the best of it.

From ancient burial cairns to Jacobite battlefields and iconic lochs, this full-day private tour gives you a true taste of Highland history and legend. Travelling in comfort from Inverness, we begin with a stop in the charming village of Beauly, before climbing to a scenic viewpoint overlooking glens and mountains. We then skirt along the northern banks of Loch Ness, offering stunning views and photo opportunities as we make our way to Urquhart Castle. There, you’ll have time to wander the atmospheric ruins perched above the loch—keep your eyes peeled for Nessie! Afterwards, enjoy some free time for lunch and a stroll in the Highland capital of Inverness before we journey east to Clava Cairns—4,000-year-old standing stones said to have inspired Outlander’s Craigh na Dun. Our final stop is Culloden Battlefield. Walk with me across the field itself as we uncover the brutal final moments of the Jacobite Rising.
