Born and raised in the Scottish Highlands. I am ex-corporate and love my Guiding Life. If you want to have a certified tourist guide, a fun day with true facts from a native of the Highlands, then look no further. You will be driven in my Luxury December 2025 Mercedes 300D Exclusive XL with leather seats, privacy glass & air-con with seats for up to 6 passengers, and lots of Luggage space. Educated to post-graduate level. 14 years as a Buying and Commercial Director in 6 different countries, having visited over 50 countries, I have developed an admiration for different cultures and ways of life. My wife and our 3 children decided it was time to return home to the Scottish Highlands and follow our hearts. We have made our home in Nairn, close to Inverness airport, Whisky Distilleries, Culloden, Castles, Standing Stones, Golf Courses, gorgeous beaches and the most amazing scenery. I am passionate about the Scottish Highlands, and would love to show you the best of the area, share some stories, explain the history, give you a flavour of life in the Highlands today and help to make your vacation a fun, interesting, memorable one. I am a qualified guide and a member of both the Scottish Tour Guides Association (STGA) and the Highlands of Scotland Tour Guide Association (HOSTGA). Full indemnity insured and public liability for carrying up to 6 passengers. 8 years of Guiding experience. Scotch Whisky Course Certificate.

If you have limited time and want to get a good feel of the Capital of the Highlands, come and join me on this historic tour! Get a real sense and understanding of the Jacobites, which is my favourite part of the history of the Highlands. You will see it's effects on how we live today. Get collected in my Luxury 2025 Mercedes V-Class 300D Exclusive XL with leather seats, privacy glass & air-con with seats for up to 6 passengers, and lots of Luggage space, for a 1. 5h leisurely walking tour of Inverness, stopping at more than 10 points of interest. They include the Old High Church where Jacobite prisoners were held and shot, Inverness Castle and River Ness, just to name a few (let's keep the rest as surprise!). We will travel to Culloden Battlefield to re-live the final Jacobite uprising of 1746, and go to the Visitors centre. Enjoy stories, some folklore and a chat about life in the Highlands today. I believe the Highlands are the most mystical relaxing place on earth, I will tell you why!
Travel time to Inverness (varies according to pick up point). INVERNESS WALKING TOUR - duration 1 Hour 30 Minutes Stopping at 15 points including Inverness Castle, The High Church, Flora MacDonald Statue, River Ness and its bridges. Airport: ,Cruise: ,ByGuide: Inverness, there is not enough time to do this half day from the port of Invergordon. It has to be a starting point of either Inverness or Nairn.
