Since moving to Edinburgh in 1988 from Germany, via South Africa and Switzerland, I am continually struck by the awesome beauty of this European Capital, by the visible history, the living culture and the juxtaposition of nature and city. I have been guiding individuals and groups through Edinburgh, Scotland and the rest of the UK since 1994 and just love imparting knowledge, local anecdotes, introducing guests to the history and the daily life of this mesmerising country and city. Come and join me on one of my walks and prepare to be enchanted, entertained and educated. If you have any particular requirements or interests, I would love to hear from you and could then tailor a tour exactly to your requirements/interests. As a mother of six, I am particularly suited to adapt the program towards children/teenagers and have experience in bringing history alive for them. Felicitas was a wonderful guide with a vast knowledge of her community. She kept a comfortable pace, explaing things in a way that left you with a good understanding of local sites and traditions. She seemed very well conected and we were able to view some rare pieces in local shops. I highly recommend her and this tour.

This was our first ever tour with TBL. The six of us had a fabulous day with Felicitas! After picking us up at the dock, we started with a drive through the city on the way to the castle and she pointed out many interesting things. At Edinburgh Castle, we had a very informative tour.
