After many years working in Edinburgh's Financial Services sector, I decided it was time to follow my real passion - for history, and for telling a good story. Initially moving to the city in 1999 to study Politics & Economics at the University of Edinburgh, I have lived in Scotland's capital for many years, with my wife, Kathryn, and two young sons, Matthew and Jamie. I have extensive experience guiding in the city and throughout the whole of Scotland.
