Hi, my name is Andy - let me take you on a journey through Scotland's history, culture and heritage. As a Blue Badge Guide accredited by the Scottish Tourist Guides Association, I am fully qualified to help you explore this wonderful nation, no matter what your interests, or the reason for your visit. After many years working in Edinburgh's Financial Services sector, I decided it was time to follow my real passion - for history, and for telling a good story. Scotland certainly has an abundance of both! Initially moving to the city in 1999 to study Politics & Economics at the University of Edinburgh, I have lived in Scotland's capital for many years, with my wife, Kathryn, and two young sons, Matthew and Jamie. I have extensive experience guiding in the city and throughout the whole of Scotland. Whether you are interested in exploring romantic ruins and historic battlefields, taking in some of the most spectacular scenery on Earth, or relaxing in one of our vibrant, modern cities, I would be delighted to help you to make your visit to Scotland a memorable one.
