Guide #25889
Hi! I’m Juan, a certified tour guide with Mexico’s Ministry of Tourism and a graduate in English Teaching from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I was born and raised in Mexico City, and I’ve spent my whole life in this lively, fascinating place. After several years as an English teacher, I met a student who had been a tour guide for many years. He saw my passion for Mexican history and suggested I try guiding tours—and he was right! Not long after earning my certification, I realized that guiding had become my true calling. I love sharing Mexico through my eyes, helping visitors return home with unforgettable memories, and, of course, fantastic photos (I also enjoy photography and know the best spots for great shots!). My goal is for you to enjoy Mexico City safely, at your own pace, with a trip tailored to your interests. Feel free to reach out so we can customize your experience in CDMX whether before you arrive or even during your stay. I look forward to showing you the best of what this incredible city has to offer. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! - Certified tour guide by the Ministry of Tourism in Mexico (SECTUR) - Degree in English Teaching from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) For groups of more than 4 people (or those who prefer extra comfort), I can arrange a spacious Toyota Sienna or similar vehicle with a professional driver, available for an additional fee.

The pyramids were beautiful, and I learned so much. Our visit to...
Juan was an excellent guide for our tour of Teotihuacan and the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a real ability to explain complicated history in a clear and understandable way. He helped us understand the temples, the different cultures of Mesoamerica, and how the history of the region developed over time. His explanation of the...
Juan was a very personable and approachable guide. He developed a system to make the tour very efficient ("starting in a middle") to balance walking vs. seeing the sights. My sons also enjoyed being able to ask Juan all different questions not just about the history, which he was very familiar with, but also about live in modern Mexico. This was a perfect way to be...
