Hi there, welcome to Budapest! My name is Magdalena, I was born and raised in Budapest and I've always been amazed by the beauty of my hometown. As a guide and a proud Budapest local, I'd like to share this feeling with you. My motto as a professional tour guide is "Enjoy the ride!" - rather than just listing dry facts I'd like to tell you stories. Stories of the past, present and of the people of Budapest. Having travelled around Europe and having lived in the USA, UK, Spain & Argentina I must say that Budapest is the perfect city for me. It is the combination of all you need: stunning architecture, rich history, unique spas, great restaurants & the coolest pubs, a lively nightlife and exciting cultural & arts landscape. I invite you to discover and "feel the city" with me - both walking and on two wheels! Tour Guiding Certificate, issued by the School of Commerce and Tourism (Kereskedelmi és Idegenforgalmi Továbbképző) BA degree in Tourism and Hotel Management, Budapest Business School, accredited by the Manchester Metropolitan University MA degree in International Relations/ Foreign Affairs major, Corvinus University of Budapest None

Magdalena was a wonderful guide for our tour of Pest. We learned a lot about the important landmarks and about the history of the city and of Hungary. She communicates excellently in English and shared interesting and helpful information about the city and the country. We highly recommend her should you find yourself visiting Budapest.
We did this tour during a port stop on a River cruise. Our ship was not able to make it to Budapest due to low river waters and we had to make extended arrangements to meet up with Magdalena. She was very cooperative and understanding and flexible in making sure we got a wonderful tour.
