Hidden Gems of Budapest Tour

I have used Tours by Locals for some time and have never been disappointed. Our trip to Budapest was no exception. Our guide (4 of us) for both the Hidden Gems and the Introductory tour was Magdalena and she was superb! She was knowledgeable, warm and friendly, flexible, responsive to our requests and very knowledgeable. She helped us get a good appreciation for the city and made great recommendations for restaurants and sites to see, beyond what she showed us. I had such a lovely morning with Magdalena. It really felt like a smart, fun friend was taking me around the city. I especially enjoyed the walk on the university campus (which was beautiful and a breath of fresh air compared to certain campus experiences elsewhere in the world) and some of the surprising art history anecdotes.

This was a very interesting tour. We chose it because we had been to Budapest before and didn’t want to repeat the standard highlights tour. We liked this tour because after walking the city for 3 previous days, we visited places where we had not passed before. Magdalena was super flexible in adapting her schedule to our requirements. She provided interesting facts about the city and the places we visited. We had a great time!
