Nice to meet you! 😊 I am a licensed, local guide of BP, a passionate traveler and a huge fan of Budapest myself! I love discovering new places – immersing myself in the atmosphere of a city, admiring the small decorations of the buildings, trying out new dishes, finding out where coffee tastes the best... To this day, I still walk around Budapest with such an eye and a desire for adventure as if I were traveling. I love architecture, I find fine arts fascinating, and I am a big foodie! I have a special interest in Hungarian history (but I don't cite dates without reason, no worries!). On my tours I tell the most exciting historical detials and the connecion between history and current-day society, architecture and politics (because there is plenty!). I love sharing stories and fun facts that are exciting even for the Hungarians. (I have had Budapest born and raised people joining me – they enjoyed the walk as much as the travelers!) And even though on these walks the focus is obviously on Budapest and Hungarian culture, I am always happy to learn about your culture, history or just hear your travel stories to other amazing places! 😊 Hope to see you soon! 😊

"Loved every second working in Budapest. Many call it 'the Hawaii of Central Europe', and even though nobody calls it that, it is warm and beautiful and endlessly fascinating" - Ryan Reynolds I guarantee that the latest by the end of our walk, you will agree with Ryan Reynolds! This walking tour takes you to the inner city of Pest. Besides introducing you to the sights themselves, I will also be sharing info and legends about the city and Hungary with you: how people live here, what do we eat or drink, what are we famous of, what is so special about our language, how smart the Hungarians are, what stories would the old buildings tell you if they could speak... Last but not least I will point out cute/whimsical stuff along the way, that would be otherwise easy to miss, but make this city so colorful! :)
Really enjoyed this tour! Gabriella was extremely knowledgeable and flexible. I loved her approach and got a great taste of the city. She was happy to dive deeper on things I was most interested in. Also, her recommendations helped me to make the most of my brief but fantastic time in Budapest. I hope to return with my family and tour a different part of the city with her. Highly recommend.
Gabriella was very knowledgeable and personable. We learned a lot from her about the local culture. She adjusted the pace of the tour as needed on the fly. Excellent guide and host!
This was an amazing tour from start to finish! Gabriella was awesome to work with! Very friendly, easy to work with and answered all our questions. We could tell she was passionate about what she does and that showed the entire tour. She loves Budapest and now because of her so do we! Highly recommend Gabriella for any of her tours as she truly delivers an authentic experience.
A great introduction to Budapest with a cheerful and informative guide - what more could you ask for? Very flexible too, as we had a couple of last minute changes needed, and she adapted so easily. Highly recommend!
