Hi there, welcome to Budapest! My name is Magdalena, I was born and raised in Budapest and I've always been amazed by the beauty of my hometown. As a guide and a proud Budapest local, I'd like to share this feeling with you. My motto as a professional tour guide is "Enjoy the ride!" - rather than just listing dry facts I'd like to tell you stories. Stories of the past, present and of the people of Budapest. Having travelled around Europe and having lived in the USA, UK, Spain & Argentina I must say that Budapest is the perfect city for me. It is the combination of all you need: stunning architecture, rich history, unique spas, great restaurants & the coolest pubs, a lively nightlife and exciting cultural & arts landscape. I invite you to discover and "feel the city" with me - both walking and on two wheels! Tour Guiding Certificate, issued by the School of Commerce and Tourism (Kereskedelmi és Idegenforgalmi Továbbképző) BA degree in Tourism and Hotel Management, Budapest Business School, accredited by the Manchester Metropolitan University MA degree in International Relations/ Foreign Affairs major, Corvinus University of Budapest None

If you love the idea of exploring the Pearl of the Danube on a bike, as I do, because of the freedom it gives you, this easy tour is for you! Exploring a city by bike is always a memorable experience, allowing you to see many sights in a fun way. I have created a great route for you, primarily using comfortable bike lanes, that includes some of the best attractions on both sides of the city. Pest is a piece of cake as it has a flat terrain, we would mostly ride along Andrassy Avenue, also known as the Champs-Élysées of Budapest. On the Buda side we would bike along the river Danube which is a scenic ride with great views. A stroll on the green Margaret Island, a favourite spot of locals, is also recommended. This is an easy, relaxed tour and the pace totally depends on you! We surely stop at least for one coffee break, probably with some strudels. The rest is up to you!
- Meeting at an agreed location - Picking up our bikes near Deák square, in the heart of downtown Pest - Start riding, visiting on the Pest side: - Andrássy Avenue - State Opera House - House of Terror - Heroe's Square - City Park - Vajdahunyad Castle - Szechenyi Thermal Bath House - St. Stephen's Basilica - Hungarian Parliament - Crossing over to Buda on the Margaret Bridge, we may bike around on the Margaret Island too, depending on your pace and requests. - We would cover the following sights on the Buda side: - St. Anne Church - Danube Embankment - Buda Castle Funicular and Tunnel - Chain Bridge - Royal Garden Bazaar - Rudas Bath House - Gellért Hill and Bath House - Crossing back to Pest on the Liberty Bridge - Central Market Hall - Hungarian National Museum - Returning bikes and finishing our tour Let me know if you have other preferences and I will tailor the tour for you
