I am proud to work as a tourist guide and love to show you my favorite places and sights! And maybe YOU will will find YOUR favorite place here, too. I have guided visitors from all over the world through the beautiful province of Salzburg since 2008. Originally I am from Styria ("The Green Heart of Austria") but my studies in interior architecture and work in the tourist industry as a tour guide and incoming operator initially took me to Amsterdam and then to New York City and Los Angeles for almost two decades. Salzburg became my new home in 1997! The combination of nature and culture convinced me and my family to move into this area. The city optimally meets my expectations of a place with international flair and interesting history. I would be delighted to introduce you to the variety that Salzburg has to offer, the historical locations in Salzburg, the customs and traditions of Salzburg and its people along with plenty of unique and special places…. . Austria Guide certificate Most tours will be walking tours. But I can arrange for a private car and driver if requested or needed for some tours. I also can accompany you in your vehicle.

Michaela is a great guide to Salzburg! She checked in the day before as it was supposed to rain to see if we wanted to change our plans. She waited patiently while we struggled with parking and kept out tour to the planned 3 hours even though we were late. The tour itself is great with the right balance of biking (easy riding nearly all on bike paths -- why don't we...
