I am a Highlander born and bred who has been fortunate to have worked and lived in many stunning areas right across Scotland, although always returning to the Highlands itself. Such locations has enabled me to absorb both the natural beauty and the impressive history that Scotland has to offer. The knowledge and geographical awareness that I have been exposed to has now enabled me to share such wonderful locations and experiences that Scotland has to offer with the many visitors who travel to Scotland. Prior to becoming a tour guide/driver I was fortunate to have retired from a successful career as a Police Officer in the Scottish Police service, working right across Scotland. Serving the local communities for many years has allowed me to experience the vast diverse cultures that are present. Equally such experiences has enabled me to appreciate the large amount of iconic locations that we have right the way throughout Scotland. The tours that I offer ensure that all will be exposed to the wonders that each location has to offer, such landscapes and views are forever changing throughout the seasons. The bonus of being a Highlander familiar with the areas visited, is the bonus of finding that wonderful scenic view normally hidden away. The tours listed here provide an opportunity to experience first-hand what Scotland has to offer. I am 100% flexible in my approach to each day, each tour can be amended/adjusted to suit the unique interests of guests, ensuring that maximum enjoyment is achieved by all. Working in the tourist industry since 2021 I am an experienced guide looking to maximise your visit. I am unable to guide inside certain historic locations due to such locations having their own staff/guides. I am licenced by our local authority.

Sit back and relax in the confines of a private air conditioned vehicle as you relocate from the Highlands down to Edinburgh or Glasgow area. Visit iconic locations taking in the breath-taking scenic views as we travel south. The Highlands are steeped in history with many stories and locations that are both worthy of hearing and visiting. As you leave the Highlands there are options to travel through the centre of the Highlands down through the Cairngorms and into Perthshire or to head out West towards Lochaber and the magnificent Glencoe mountains. Either route will provide the opportunity for wonderful views as you travel in comfort through the magnificent glens. Third option is heading southeast from Inverness towards royal Deeside and Balmoral Castle before continuing through Braemar. The flowing rivers, still Lochs and impressive mountains provide opportunity for that memorable photograph enabling you remember your time in the Highlands of Scotland I am flexible in identifying a route suitable to you
This tour was exceptional, perfect for our needs. Bob took us to numerous places providing all kind of information along the way. He was friendly and enjoyable to spend the day with. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable. We had a perfect day!
Traveling back to Edinburgh with Bob was the perfect way to end our trip to the Scottish Highlands. We were able to relax and leave the driving in Bob's capable hands as well as take our time and stop and spend time at the sights we had only viewed from the train window on the way up to Inverness. Bob was very flexible and knowledgeable and willing to adapt the trip to our preferences, and never rushed us, even though it must have been quite a long day for him with the return drive. The vehicle was quite spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend.
I had the pleasure of spending a full day with Bob as my guide on an incredible tour from Inverness to Edinburgh and back. From start to finish, Bob was not only knowledgeable and professional but also warm, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and beauty of Scotland. Despite the long journey, Bob kept the experience lively and informative with fascinating stories, historical insights, and great recommendations along the way. He struck the perfect balance between guided commentary and allowing time to explore on my own. His driving was smooth and safe, and the entire day was well-paced and comfortable. What a wonderful tour with our guide Bob M., he was very knowledgeable and took us to some amazing areas. We never felt rushed and he was a true gentleman and professional through out. Note, there are not many if any, drivers that take you all the way from Inverness, with touring along the way, drop you off at your hotel in Edingburgh and then he drives all the way back to Inverness afterwards, making it a great trip for us but a very long day for him. Would highly recommend him and this tour
Brian was fantastic!! He drove/ toured us around for two days from Edinburgh to Fort William and Inverness/ Dornoch to St Andrews and back to Edinburgh. He was highly flexible, highly knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Our group included 2 kids (8 & 10) and he was fantastic with them! Highly recommend !!

Collection from Hotel/airport/guest house There are options available for the direction of travel as you relocate from the Highlands. Head West from Inveness can see you travel alongside Loch Ness towards Fort William and the magnificent Glencoe Mountains, witness the vast mountain range and views. Visit Glen Etive, location for James Bond filming. Head South through the centre of the Highlands passing by the Cairngorm Mountains, with options of visiting the Folk Museum at Newtonmore where scenes from Outlander were filmed, opportunity for a walk to the Falls of Bruar or See the Queens View at Pitlochry. Visit the Duke of Atholls Blair Castle at Blair Atholl. Heading southeast from Inverness takes you over the Cairngorm Mountains into Royal Deeside and the Royal residence at Balmoral Castle then into Braemar as you head south. Once in central Scotland possibility of visiting + The Kelpies - 30mins outside of Edinburgh + Stirling Castle + Wallace Monument Before arriving at your new destination.

You will travel in a private air conditioned Mercedes Vito which is solely for your parties use. There is sufficient space for luggage that does not impact on passenger comfort. The vehicle has 7 passengers seats plus the driver however to assist with passenger comfort 6 passengers is the preferred maximum although on occasion 7 persons can/will be accommodated.
