My wife and our 3 children decided it was time to return home to the Scottish Highlands and follow our hearts. We have made our home in Nairn, close to Inverness airport, Whisky Distilleries, Culloden, Castles, Standing Stones, Golf Courses, gorgeous beaches and the most amazing scenery. I am passionate about the Scottish Highlands, and would love to show you the best of the area, share some stories, explain the history, give you a flavour of life in the Highlands today and help to make your vacation a fun, interesting, memorable one. Overview of your Inverness tour
Get collected from your accommodation in my luxury Mercedes V-Class 300 Exclusive (December 2025) for up to 6 guests. A panoramic tour of Inverness, the Capital of The Highlands. Journey to Culloden Battlefield to re-live the final Jacobite uprising of 1746, then a short drive to the 4000 year old Clava Cairns burial chambers and standing stones. Next stop is Cawdor Castle (April-September) or Brodie Castle, steeped in history and intrigue, with magnificent gardens and great cafe's! Then to the Speyside, Benromach Distillery created in 1898 for a Whisky Distillery tour and a dram! Come and discover stories, some folklore and a chat about life in the Highlands today and why I believe the Highlands to be the most mystical, relaxing place on earth.

PANORAMIC INVERNESS - duration 30 minutes A drive past the highlights of the Capital of The Highlands CULLODEN BATTLEFIELD - duration 2 hours Battlefield tour with 7 stopping points followed by time in the award winning Visitors Centre. CLAVA CAIRNS - duration 30 minutes A visit to the ancient burial chambers and standing stones said to have inspired the time travel in Outlander. CAWDOR CASTLE and LUNCH - duration 2 hours Tour of the castle, lunch and time to explore the formal gardens. BENROMACH DISTILLERY - duration 90 minutes A tour of this distillery and a wee dram of whisky, 'the water of life'. Travel back to drop-off point.
