Hello, my name is James and I am deeply passionate about Scotland and all things Scottish. I am very proud and privileged to be able to share my beautiful country with visitors from all over the world. I have been very lucky that I have had the opportunity to travel all across this beautiful country over the years, seeing some impressive sights and visiting some incredible places, including being in Balmoral Castle while the Queen was in residence (but that's a story for another time). There are so many wonderful, wild and mysterious places in Scotland and I would love to be able to share them with you. From the castles and architecture in out ancient cities to the vast expanse of wilderness in our hills and glens, there really is so much to see and explore. It would be my honor to show you the sights of this amazing wee country, and leave you with memories that will last a lifetime, with lots of fun and laughs along the way. Red Cross First Aid Certificate Whisky Ambassador I have been guiding since my early 20's all over the world but I love guiding in my home country of Scotland. Please note; I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of historical monuments. I can, however, accompany you inside and provide a brief overview.

Whisky, the water of life and without doubt, one of Scotland's finest exports! Our first stop is Deanston Distillery. You will enjoy a tour while sipping 2 different drams before heading off to the most unique of all Scotland's distilleries. The Glengoyne Distillery is located on the Highland Line which divides the Highlands & Lowlands. The distillery produces Highland Single Malt Whiskey, which is matured in the Lowlands. Here you will enjoy 2 more drams, one to warm you up at the start, and another at the end. After sampling our national drink it's time to savour the local food. The nearby Beech Tree restaurant is perfect for lunch. Here you can enjoy home cooked food made from locally sourced ingredients. Our day ends at a Lowlands distillery where after the tour, you will have one last dram and a whiskey & pale ale cocktail, bringing your day to a wonderful end. I am deeply passionate about Scotland and all things Scottish, one of these being not only the whisky but all the process it takes!
