I'm the guy with the orange bag. My name is Douglas. In Scotland I am called Dougie but I answer to both. I have run walking tours of Glasgow for ten years now. I am very passionate about my city. Born and bred in the Cowcaddens area of Glasgow-- which is in the centre of the city. Many of my tours are based on my childhood experiences. I know my city very well and look forward to showing you around. My passion for travel has taken me around the world and I've seen so many of the planet's highlights. I have walked the Great Wall of China, backpacked across America, mixed with the locals in Moscow's famous vodka bars and taken a safari in Africa. I have learned so much about how to make the most of a destination. This is how I plan my tours. I know you love to to see the highlights but you also want to enjoy the experiences. You want to leave with great memories. That will stay with you for a very long time. Come and join me. Lets see Glasgow. International Travel Blogger Owns Travel website Inventor of first tourism hour on Social Media #Scotlandhour Walking tour company. Ten years experience. Raised over £8000 for Scottish Charity I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Born and bred in the centre of Glasgow. Let me take you on a tour of my hometown. I will show you the main points of Interest and give you an insight into being a Glaswegian. My city started in the east and that's where we will start and make our way west. So many chances to see Glasgow's main attractions. I only take a small group for better interaction and speed of getting about. It s going to be a special day. Hope you can join us. Please note I am not a historian but I have 60 years knowledge of living in the city. I have also been showing tourist around our city for many years. Look forward to seeing you soon.
Morning start at your hotel/transport hub. Depending on where we begin depends of on. I am very flexible to where and when we start. We start at the Trongate -- Where the city began . Walk north to the beautiful Glasgow Cathedral. Have around 30mins here. Next up we wander through the historical Merchant city. Geo Square-- the hub of the city. We rest ourselves and discuss the rest of our day. Morning Coffee break at a local cafe. We take Underground to St George Cross. Great fun riding the Clockwork orange. Nice stroll through Kelvingrove Park. We are now in the Westend. Home of the spectacular University. Time to visit the underrated Hunterian Museum. Then the star of the day. Kelvingrove museum. Lunch Wander along River Clyde back into the city. Typical local pub for afternoon break. Brief guide to your special day. Very flexible

Walking, unless the weather is very bad, then we can use the underground system.
