Glasgow and I have a lot in common - just like the city, I'm forever inspired by the people I meet and I don't take myself too seriously! I may not have been born in Glasgow, but after 10 years here it certainly feels like home. I graduated from Glasgow University with an MA in History and English Language. I love history because it is everywhere - in our landscapes, our architecture, our culture. To understand history is to understand ourselves! Scotland is a beautiful country, but with so much to explore, Glasgow can sometimes be overlooked. It's my job to show you exactly why it shouldn't be! Whether you're looking for a long wander through the city or lots of stops to our local museums, breweries, and eateries, I'd love to show you around. Looking after our planet is something that's really important to me. If you're interested, I'd love to make our time together as sustainable as it can be - without missing out on any of the fun, of course! I am not a licensed guide and cannot guide you once inside historical buildings (e.g. Glasgow Cathedral have their own guides). I cannot offer pick-up/drop off via car, but am happy to recommend public transport or arrange a taxi service.

Glasgow is a city full of history - you can find it in its architecture, on its streets, and in its plethora of museums and galleries. This tour will take you on a journey from Glasgow's founding father, through to its modern-day masterpieces. We'll start our tour at Glasgow Cathedral, where we can explore not only the cathedral and Glasgow Necropolis, but also the St Mungo's Museum of Religious Life and Art, and the Provand's Lordship, one of the oldest buildings in Glasgow. From there, we can head towards Glasgow Green and the wonderful Barras market. Walking to Buchanan Street, we can enjoy the Gallery of Modern Art, and stop along the way at cafes and restaurants as suits us. This tour typically takes around 8 hours. With plenty of time built into the day for coffee and lunch, this tour is the perfect way to explore Glasgow at your own pace.
