I'm the guy with the orange bag. My name is Douglas. In Scotland I am called Dougie but I answer to both. I have run walking tours of Glasgow for ten years now. I am very passionate about my city. Born and bred in the Cowcaddens area of Glasgow-- which is in the centre of the city. Many of my tours are based on my childhood experiences. I know my city very well and look forward to showing you around. My passion for travel has taken me around the world and I've seen so many of the planet's highlights. I have walked the Great Wall of China, backpacked across America, mixed with the locals in Moscow's famous vodka bars and taken a safari in Africa. I have learned so much about how to make the most of a destination. This is how I plan my tours. I know you love to to see the highlights but you also want to enjoy the experiences. You want to leave with great memories. That will stay with you for a very long time. Come and join me. Lets see Glasgow. International Travel Blogger Owns Travel website Inventor of first tourism hour on Social Media #Scotlandhour Walking tour company. Ten years experience. Raised over £8000 for Scottish Charity I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

The Clockwork Orange [subway] Tour of Glasgow. A unique experience! I'm the guy with orange bag. Please note there is walking involved. Let me take you on a journey to show you the star attractions of Glasgow by using Glasgow's underground system. The third oldest underground system in the world is fun to use. It travels continuously in a circular route and the trains are coloured Orange hence the nickname - Clockwork Orange. The name comes from a 1971 film by Stanley Kubrick based on a book by Anthony Burgess. This tour would be perfect for when the weather is not so kind and can be taken at any time of the year. It would be great for those who would like a different experience of Glasgow. Hope you can join me on my Clockwork Orange Tour of Glasgow!
- We will start at the station closest to you. I shall sort the day tickets for the 10 km circuit (included in the price of the tour). - There are 15 stations. We shall be stopping at a minimum of five . - We will be visiting Kelvingrove Art Gallery for approx 60 mins, Riverside transport museum for approx 30 mins, trendy Byres Road, Trongate and Glasgow Cathedral and a few more treasures that I'll show you on the day! - We will stop for a lunch break during that time, I am happy to recommend a place. Maybe a drink in Glasgow's oldest bar? It is going to be special day you will never forget. Come onboard!
