Hi my name is Dave and like yourself I have a passion for travel. I love to explore and discover the hidden gems that you can find anywhere in the world but sometimes it can take time to find them. That is where a private tour with a knowledgeable local guide stands out. Come with me and I will take you on a voyage of adventure and discovery as we explore the hidden secrets of my beautiful country and its remarkable history. My adventures are suitable for all and can be modified to meet the needs of any group from high activity thrill seekers to the more sedate scenic explorers. Don't worry, even our low activity tours will allow you to explore and discover some hidden gems. As an avid traveller I have experienced many tours and adventures and as such I have a good understanding of what makes a tour stand out. I have used this knowledge and experience in the design all of my tours to provide a fantastic experience for my guests. It is true that adventure and discovery can still be carried out in luxury and comfort and that is my main focus. I look forward to meeting you and your group as we embark on another adventure which has been modified to provide the unique experience you are looking for during your short visit to my incredible country. Now it is time to see Scotland your way. Dave C I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside the historic monuments, I will however accompany you and give you my insights where applicable.

This tour of central Scotland provides the perfect taster of all that Scotland has to offer from the incredible and bloody history around Stirling to the scenic splendour of the Trossachs National Park with a nice pub lunch to give you a sample of Scottish cuisine. Maybe even a wee dram of the "Water of Life". Stirling Castle and the surrounding area played a prominent role for great Scottish heroes such as William Wallace (Braveheart) and Robert The Bruce (The Outlaw King). The castle swapped hands 8 times between the invading English and defending Scot's during the battles of independence. From the turmoil of Bannockburn and Stirling Bridge we will head into the tranquil and beautiful Trossachs National Park to witness some of Scotland's most fantastic scenery with the odd hairy coo or two flung in for good measure. We will stop for lunch in a lovely little country pub who craft their own ales. A visit to the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond will finish our day off nicely.
- From our pick up point we will head out to Stirling Castle where after a brief orientation you will be able to go and explore on your own for 90 mins or so. The castle provides great views of the magnificent Wallace Monument at the top of Abbey Craig and we will chat about the battles of Stirling Bridge and Bannockburn. - After all this chat of battles and bloodshed we will head out to the peaceful retreat of the Trossachs National Park. Passing through Callander to Kilmahog we will visit Honey, Baxter and Hamish, the most photographed hairy coo's in the country with a chance to shop for gifts. - Next, the Lade Inn for lunch in a lovely little country pub serving traditional Scottish food and possibly sampling one of their own ales. - From here we will drive through the majestic Trossachs for around 1 hr to get to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond which will be our last destination before returning to our pick up point. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to customize this tour.
