David R. met me on time with my cruise disembarkation in a clean, comfortable Mercedes - and his appearance dressed in traditional Scottish attire really set the tone for a fun day. He had designed a full day tour incorporating my desire to see top sites in Glasgow plus a drive to Stirling Castle. Stops were efficient in order to cover the territory -city and countryside! As a solo traveler, it may be costly, but absolutely no regrets as I enjoyed a truly memorable day with a very genial, organized and extremely knowledgeable guide whose love of history, culture, and heritage was compelling. Lunch at a small Glasgow pub allowed a sampling of classic Scottish food - haggis not my favorite but the cullen skink soup was delicious. He even incorporated an unplanned museum stop that I really appreciated when he learned about my background. David truly instilled in me a sincere fondness for Scotland with that wonderful day!

This being our first trip to Scotland, choosing David as our guide was one of the best decisions we could have made in planning our trip. Traveling with our 3 young adult grandsons and having 3 days in Glasgow before meeting up with our granddaughter in the Highlands gave us a perfect amount of time to explore. David with his joyful and enthusiastic personality and his wealth of knowledge of Scotland made our 3 days wonderful. With a bit of our own input and great suggestions from David our tours with him could not have been more perfect. David was especially mindful to plan outings that our grandsons would especially enjoy, and they surely did. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with David. He was punctual, incredibly accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure our family had a wonderful day. We had our two young children with us, and he thoughtfully had chocolates and juices waiting for them when he arrived. He was also happy to join us on a beautiful hike, where he took photos along the way and even put together a little photo package for us afterward. He was flexible enough to take a few detours and tailor the day to what we wanted to see, and his knowledge of Scotland was truly impressive. We had such a memorable time and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, thoughtful, and genuinely outstanding guide.
