Hi, I am Brian and was born and bred in Lanarkshire, Bonnie Scotland. I have worked and travelled in Glasgow and the West of Scotland for the last 30 years as a Chartered Surveyor. On my travels I visited some of the amazing locations that Scotland has to offer. I am biased but we must have the richest country in the world in terms of scenery and culture. I have recently retired and now want to share the history, culture and scenery of this wonderful wee country with others. I speak fluent English with a soft Glasgow accent and studied French at school which I have totally forgotten. I am currently learning Spanish , however, my Spanish is very basic and used when I go to foreign shores to order food. In summary my tours will be in English. I am a keen golfer(currently doing my coaching certificates) and musician (well I play the drums) and love to joke and learn about others. I can therefore, guarantee you that our journey will be entertaining. I drive a Mercedes Benz GLC which has air conditioning and can accommodate 4 passengers plus the driver. You will therefore, have a very comfortable journey. Walking tours in isolation will of course not involve the car. My tours are fun and engaging and can be altered to suit specific requirements so please feel free to ask. I became a guide to meet new and exciting people and hope that my enthusiasm for Scotland will be obvious and add to the enjoyment of your vacation. Hope to see you soon Brian BSc in Land Economics Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Level 1 PGA Golf Coach For my driving tours only,I have an air-conditioned Mercedes Benz GLC that can carry the driver plus 4 passengers. All my tours include walking, however, there is no need to be an Olympic athlete as the pace is gentle. My tours are in English only.

Embark on a full day tour of the Isle of Arran also known as Scotland in miniature due to its stunning topography. We start with a pick up from your hotel in the Glasgow area driving down to the port town of Ardrossan where we board the ferry for a 55 minutes crossing to Arran. The scenery is breathtaking as the tallest mountain on the island , Goatfell looms closer as we approach the port of Brodick . From the ferry you often see porpoises or basking sharks but the scenery to the surrounding islands of Ailsa Craig, Holy Isle, Bute and Cumbrae is stunning. Once in Arran , we will take the 60 mile circular route stopping at various points of interest but also pausing when necessary to take pictures of red deer, buzzards, golden eagles, sea otters and seals. We will stop at a whisky bar in the newly opened Lagg Distillery and also walk along some of Arran's famous beaches. We will finish at Brodick where you can purchase local cheese, beer and gifts from the famous Arran Aromatics. A bucket list trip
