Hello, my name is James and I am deeply passionate about Scotland and all things Scottish. I am very proud and privileged to be able to share my beautiful country with visitors from all over the world. I have been very lucky that I have had the opportunity to travel all across this beautiful country over the years, seeing some impressive sights and visiting some incredible places, including being in Balmoral Castle while the Queen was in residence (but that's a story for another time). There are so many wonderful, wild and mysterious places in Scotland and I would love to be able to share them with you. From the castles and architecture in out ancient cities to the vast expanse of wilderness in our hills and glens, there really is so much to see and explore. It would be my honor to show you the sights of this amazing wee country, and leave you with memories that will last a lifetime, with lots of fun and laughs along the way. Once the capital of Scotland, Stirling is a beautiful city steeped in history. When we arrive you will be free to roam and take in your surroundings or pick up an official tour of the castle. We will journey to the Trossachs and the bustling town of Callander. Often described as the gateway to the highlands, this picturesque town reflects the Scotland of yesteryear. After a few miles along the road, you can meet some hairy highland cows and do a little shopping in the local woollen mill. Then it's onwards through the Trossachs. Have your camera ready to capture the beautiful scenery along the way. We will stop for photographs at the tranquil loch Lubnaig, where you can take a walk down to the loch, and even dip your toes in the water before we head back to the port.
James was absolutely fantastic!! He’s very knowledgeable about Scotland and history, all delivered with a super witty personality. James is very accommodating and will tailor the tour to your individual interests. My husband had been wanting a kilt and James made that happen! We literally (!) had the best day with James and would highly recommend him. We would love to come back to Scotland and do a multi day tour with James. 😀❤️
Our day is Scotland was amazing with our knowledgeable and entertaining guide, James Kennedy! He was waiting for us when we arrived at the port, dressed in his Clan's kilt, and we immediately stepped into the Scottish history and culture. Since our day started a little earlier than scheduled, he added an extra stop to visit The Kelpies. He was so attentive to our family member who needs assistance with a wheelchair, helping us navigate the rugged terrain of steep inclines and cobblestones at Stirling Castle. His narration of the sights kept us completely entertained. When we asked about a favorite series, "The Outlander," he added an extra drive by Doune Castle. Then he took us to one of his favorite restaurants, the "Lion and Unicorn" where we enjoyed a delicious and authentic Scottish meal. We finished our day with chance to shop and also feed 3 highland cows. Fabulous Day!!!!!
Today's tour with James was probably the best tour we've ever had. I'd give him a million star rating if it was an option. We had a limited time in port on our cruise today. James customized a private tour to suit our tastes within the few hours we had. We were able to see highlights of the area and we had a great time. We can't wait to return to Scotland to do multi-day tour with James someday. Highly recommend!
