Hi my name is Dave and like yourself I have a passion for travel. I love to explore and discover the hidden gems that you can find anywhere in the world but sometimes it can take time to find them. That is where a private tour with a knowledgeable local guide stands out. Come with me and I will take you on a voyage of adventure and discovery as we explore the hidden secrets of my beautiful country and its remarkable history. My adventures are suitable for all and can be modified to meet the needs of any group from high activity thrill seekers to the more sedate scenic explorers. Don't worry, even our low activity tours will allow you to explore and discover some hidden gems. As an avid traveller I have experienced many tours and adventures and as such I have a good understanding of what makes a tour stand out. I have used this knowledge and experience in the design all of my tours to provide a fantastic experience for my guests. It is true that adventure and discovery can still be carried out in luxury and comfort and that is my main focus. I look forward to meeting you and your group as we embark on another adventure which has been modified to provide the unique experience you are looking for during your short visit to my incredible country. Now it is time to see Scotland your way. Dave C I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside the historic monuments, I will however accompany you and give you my insights where applicable.

My family of 2 seniors and a 13-year-old grandson enjoyed our Glorious Scotland tour with David. We were picked up in a clean car on time at a hotel in Glasgow. Our first stop was the Falkirk Wheel, an amazing contraption that lifts a barge full with passengers up about 35 meters from one canal to another. Our second stop was the Kelpies, metallic horse sculptures about 30 meters tall. We then spent 1.5 hours at Stirling Castle. We listened to the hour-long free tour and then had time to visit the Royal Lodgings. Our next stop was lunch at The Lode Inn in Kilmahog. This is a pub with an excellent mix of traditional and modern foods, including asparagus risotto, haggis balls, and hamburgers. Finally, a great end of the day – we fed carrots and potatoes to Scottish cattle at “The Highland Coos” in Kilmahog. Overall this was an excellent day.

Dave was an excellent tour guide and driver. He provided a customized tour to our ancestral lands in Kilmarnock and Arys from the Greenock Cruise Port. Dave was very nice and provided good local insights. We enjoyed lunch in a seaside restaurant. The car was very comfortable.

David took 7 of us (from a cruise ship) on a fabulous 8 hour adventure through beautiful Scotland. We enjoyed scenic views of the lochs and stops in lovely towns. He is very personable and was amenable to our interests. His vehicle is fantastic, and he provided refreshments and snacks. We loved it and so will you! You will never get this kind of experience on a large tour bus.
